This fall, 20 third-year Syracuse University College of Law students participated in the 32nd annual Lionel O. Grossman Trial Competition.

The students are enrolled in the interdisciplinary class “Quilts and Community.”

With a lead gift of $100,000 from John Chapple ’75, SU has established the Robin Toner Endowment in celebration of the life and work of acclaimed late New York Times political correspondent Robin Toner ’76.

Keith J. Bybee, a renowned expert on judicial legitimacy and court independence, has been named to the newly created Paul E. and The Hon. Joanne F. Alper ’72 Judiciary Studies Professorship at the College of Law.

Adam Werbach, global CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi S, will visit the Syracuse University campus on Thursday, Nov. 12.

New York City-based public relations professionals will welcome 19 public relations and public diplomacy students from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications during the Fall PR Benchmark Trip October 28-30.

Jim Olson, vice president of corporate communications with US Airways, will visit Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications on Wednesday, Oct. 28.

Christie Hefner, former chairman and CEO of Playboy Enterprises Inc., will visit the Newhouse School on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
