Keith Bybee is a Professor of Political Science at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University. He is also Director of the Institute for the Study of the Judiciary, Politics, and the Media
Senior Research Associate, Campbell Public Affairs Institute.
He interests lie in Public law, the judicial process, the politics of race, legal theory, and political philosophy. Professor Bybee takes courses in subjects like Elements of Law
Constitutional Law (in PSC and at College of Law), Law Politics, and the Media, Political Argument and Reasoning, Civil Liberties, Judicial Politics among many other.
Professor Bybee researches on study of judiciary, Supreme Court specific issues and veteran’s law clinic.
He has written a number of books which includes How Civility Works, All Judges Are Political – Except When They Are Not: Acceptable Hypocrisies and the Rule of Law, Bench Press: The Collision of Courts, Politics, and the Media among others.
