How Benisek v. Lamone Ruling Can Impact Voting Districts Throughout the Country.

Keith Bybee, professor of political science at the Maxwell School and Vice Dean at the College of Law, was interviewed by Spectrum News on the issues of gerrymandering the case Benisek v. Lamone which was argued before the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court oruling on Benisek v. Lamone could have an impact on how voting districts are drawn throughout the country. And, it all boils down to gerrymandering.

“Gerrymandering is the practice of drawing the lines of the district in order to favor one group over another,” said SU Judiciary Studies Professor Keith Bybee.
