College of Human Ecology highlights graduate studies during Feb. 27 information session
Syracuse University faculty and current students will welcome potential graduate students interested in graduate studies in child and family studies, addiction studies, marriage and family therapy, nutrition science and dietetics, and social work during the College of Human Ecology’s Spring Information Session Feb. 27 at 11 a.m. in Lyman Hall.

SU students enter regional business competitions
Syracuse University has the most submissions to this year’s Central Upstate Regional Alliance Business Plan Competition, making up 39 percent of student business ideas in the running for $5,000. SU also has three teams entered in the $200,000 Emerging Business Competition.

Newhouse School to host 20th Alexia Photojournalism Seminar and Competition
The 20th anniversary of the Alexia Foundation will be celebrated at the annual Alexia Photojournalism Seminar and Competition on Friday, Feb. 19, and Saturday, Feb. 20, at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Over the past two decades, the foundation has awarded over 25 scholarships for SU students to study photojournalism at SU Abroad in London.
