The 2010 Martin Luther King Unsung Heroes Awards will be presented to four members of the Syracuse University or greater Syracuse communities during the 25th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration.

The annual celebration is among the largest University-sponsored events in the U.S. to honor King.

The University Neighborhood Partnership Committee (UNP), of which Syracuse University is a member, has worked with a local contractor to create a sidewalk snow removal pilot program for a designated area of sidewalk in the neighborhood east of campus.
