Elizabeth Wimer

Assistant Teaching Professor of Entrepreneurship

Elizabeth Wimer is an Associate Teaching Professor of Entrepreneurship leading courses on management, marketing, entrepreneurship, sales, and creative problem solving. Her experience in entrepreneurial ventures and her passion for management translates into courses, consulting and speaking engagements in entrepreneurship, ideation, marketing, creative problem solving, personal selling, management and customer service. Her consulting work has taken her throughout the United States and also to Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Kenya and the U.K. and her passion for education has led her most recently to South Sudan to volunteer to teach at an understaffed school in rural Africa. Prior to her career in academia, she served as the director of marketing and public relations for exclusive, independent hotels in Maryland and in upstate New York. She is a graduate of Syracuse University with an M.A. in Rhetorical Studies/Speech Communication, and Hood College with a B.A. in Communications.
