Carrie Mae Weems interviewed for “In Conversation”

Carrie Mae Weems, University Artist in Residence, was interviewed about her work on the PBS program “In Conversation.” Weems recently created a public messaging art series, called Resist COVID, Take 6!, focused on spreading messages of community and best health practices for minority communities. In the program Weems discusses a variety of topics, from the definition of blackness and “the desire to make work that addresses not only personal identity but also the broader human condition.”
