Keith Bybee, vice dean and the Paul E. and Hon. Joanne F. Alper ’72 Judiciary Studies Professor in the College of Law, was interviewed by WSYR TV for the story “Dealing with the differences: How to handle political polarization.” Bybee, who researches political philosophy and polarization, says that when difficult conversations about politics come up with family and friends it is important to always have civility. “I think what’s important to realize about civility is it’s all a matter of display. It’s a matter of showing people respect. You don’t have to like everybody,” says Bybee.
