Misinformation About the Coronavirus Is Spreading Faster Than Virus Itself

Jennifer Grygiel, assistant professor of communications in the Newhouse School, was quoted in the Rolling Stone story “Coronavirus Is Spreading — And So Are the Hoaxes and Conspiracy Theories Around It.” In the story, Grygiel discusses the spread of misinformation about the corona virus due to strained relations between the U.S. and China.
