Sociology Professor Quoted in Story about U.S. Life Expectancy

Jennifer Karas Montez, Assistant Professor of Sociology in the Maxwell School of Public Policy, was quoted in the Buzzfeed News story, “US Life Expectancy Has Dropped — Again.”

“New York now has a life expectancy like Denmark, while Mississippi has one like Romania,” said Montez in the article.
