Journaling, Zumba and Guided Meditation Opportunities for Faculty and Staff This Friday
Feel Good Friday activities are the perfect way to end your workweek. Friday, April 6, activities include the following:
- Zumba—A fusion of Latin and International music/dance themes that create a dynamic and exciting workout, with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body
- Journaling—The simple act of writing a few words, sentences or paragraphs every day can have a profound and instant effect on your life for the better.
- Guided meditation—This session begins with a brief introduction to meditation and its various forms, an introduction to tools to assist a meditation practice, and simple breathing techniques followed by a 15–20 minute guided meditation.
Try something new on your own or invite a coworker to check out one of this week’s offerings that will leave you feeling happier, more energized and more focused.
