The Department of Recreation Services is once again hosting the Health and Wellness Expo on Wednesday, March 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Flanagan Gymnasium. The event is free and open to all faculty, staff and students with valid SU/ESF ID.
The event hosts more than 50 vendors who offer a variety of health and wellness-related services, resources and products available on and off campus, such as chiropractic care, stress reduction, mindful eating, yoga and more. Among the group of vendors is Tops Friendly Markets, co-sponsor of the event. The vendors tabling offer product demonstrations, free samples, information and activities.
“The Health and Wellness Expo is always a highlight of the spring semester. It provides students, faculty and staff with an opportunity to learn about resources and services that will benefit their overall well-being,” says Joseph Lore, director of the Department of Recreation Services. “We hope that each attendee leaves the expo with at least one new way they can engage in wellness activities.”
