Students Help Teachers Learn
Elementary students recently played a key role in helping teachers and teaching students learn. The children were part of a growing practice known as lesson study, in which teachers observe how students absorb STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) subject material, and specifically the new state science curriculum. It was all part of a partnership between the School of Education and Onondaga-Cortland-Madison Counties BOCES.
