Live Press Conference: Searching for Gravitational Waves

A century after Albert Einstein predicted the existence of gravitational waves, the National Science Foundation will gather scientists from Syracuse University, Caltech, MIT and the LIGO Scientific Collaboration to update the scientific community on efforts to detect them. The update will be presented during a live press conference originating from the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. The national press conference will be followed by remarks and an in-person Q&A session with Syracuse physicists. A live stream of the event will be available by clicking here Thursday morning starting at 10:25 a.m.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) will be provided.
