University Board of Trustees’ bylaws provide for the appointment of a staff member to serve as a representative on the Board. The Office of Human Resources is now accepting applications for the staff representative position for the 2025-2027 term. This role offers a valuable opportunity for staff to directly engage in key University governance decisions.
Staff Selection Process:
All Syracuse University staff members in good standing are eligible to apply. If you are interested in being considered for this important role, please complete the application [PDF] and submit it to svpchro@syr.edu by the deadline. Once all applications are reviewed, Chancellor Kent Syverud will be provided a list of up to three recommended candidates for final selection.
