On Thursday, Feb. 2, faculty members from Syracuse University and MIT joined together in New York City for a panel discussion on the historic discovery of gravitational waves. Syracuse University professors Duncan Brown and Peter Saulson and associate professor Stefan Ballmer, along with MIT professor Rainer Weiss (co-founder of LIGO) took part in a question-and-answer session moderated by Bob Dotson G’69. The event was recorded live at the famed Explorers Club in New York City.
