Syracuse University Campus Dining will begin offering mobile ordering to the community on Monday, Aug. 3.

The service will launch first at the Dunkin’ location in Schine Student Center, with expansion to follow at other Campus Dining retail locations throughout the fall semester.

Users can access the app one of two ways:

  • By visiting the OrangeNow app, clicking on “Mobile Ordering,” and following the prompts from there to download the Transact Mobile Ordering app and selecting “Syracuse University”
  • Navigating directly to the App Store, searching “Transact Mobile Ordering,” downloading and selecting “Syracuse University”

When users access the app for the first time, they will be prompted to enter their NetID and password. Accepted forms of payment will include Meal Plan Dining Dollars, ’Cuse Cash and credit cards.

“We are excited to bring this technology to the Syracuse campus,” says John Papazoglou, senior vice president and chief operations officer. “We are continually looking for ways to enhance the dining experience for our campus community, and we believe mobile ordering will make it quicker and easier to access our retail locations.”

The mobile ordering launch follows the announcement of a new full-service Starbucks location in Bird Library, set to open in Fall 2026, along with the opening of the campus’s first Einstein Bros. Bagels location in the Life Sciences Atrium and several other renovations and enhancements to dining locations across campus throughout the summer months.
