The Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University, the national headquarters for the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV) program, has announced the expansion of the EBV to E.J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University (LSU).

The Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University, with support from Ernst & Young, has announced the inaugural Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veteran’s Families program (EBV-F), which will commence on the campus of Syracuse University beginning Nov. 7.

With the goal of furthering social media innovation, Syracuse University School of Information Studies (iSchool) has agreed to host the student-run Internet radio station WERW on the third floor of Hinds Hall.

The renovated space is the result of a design process that began in 2009.

Enitiative, a coalition of six campuses in Central New York that promotes student and community entrepreneurship, has a new website aimed at connecting CNY entrepreneurs with the resources available to help them launch and grow their ventures.

From hot sauce and beer with local roots, to online gaming and animated graphic warriors, the second annual Syracuse Student Sandbox Demo Day will showcase the innovation and dedication of Central New York student entrepreneurs on Wednesday, Aug. 18, at the Syracuse Technology Garden.

The facility officially opened on June 18.

Eight SU student start-ups received $60,000 in seed funding.
