Doerr, dual professor of teaching and leadership programs and mathematics in The College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Education, and Margaret Himley, professor of writing and rhetoric, and co-director of the LGBT Studies Program and minor in Arts and Sciences, as this year’s Laura J. and L. Douglas Meredith Professors. Additionally, SU will recognize the 2010 recipients of the Teaching Recognition Awards, and Theodore L. Brown, associate professor in the School of Architecture, will receive the 2010 University Scholar/Teacher of the Year Award.
