Jason R. Wiles, assistant professor of biology, has received the 2010 Science and Technology Outreach Award from the Technology Alliance of Central New York (TACNY).

Beginning at 4 p.m. in Goldstein Auditorium at the Hildegarde and J. Myer Schine Student Center, the fast-paced, celebratory reception and awards presentation are free and open to the public.

Dacheng Ren, assistant professor of biomedical engineering at the L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science, has been named the 2010 College Technology Educator of the Year by the Technology Alliance of Central New York (TACNY).

Veteran Skylab Astronaut Gerald P. Carr will present the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation’s 2010-11 scholarship award to Syracuse University senior Nathaniel J. Miska during a public lecture on Friday, Sept. 17.
