The presentation team of six Whitman School students and one College of Arts and Sciences student traveled to Philadelphia for the May 10-12 exposition after winning the regional competition in April.

Harvey Teres, associate professor of English, has been named director of The College of Arts and Sciences’ Judaic Studies Program, effective July 1.

Karl Solibakke has been appointed assistant dean for finance and long-range planning and Brian Sparks has been appointed director of budget and financial analysis.

The Fourth Annual Charity Sports Auction, presented by Syracuse University’s Sport Management (SPM) Club in April 2009, raised $20,000 for the hospital.

Presented by Syracuse University and the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and open to the public, this year’s markets will feature a wide variety of locally grown fruits, vegetables and plants; snacks; condiments; ceramics; and other handmade items.
