Refugee artists participate in annual Peace Council event
Miniature ceramic cows, beaded jewelry and hand-sewn items made by Syracuse refugees from South Sudan, DR Congo, Kazakhstan and Burma (Myanmar) will be some of the new immigrant arts featured for the first time at the Peace Council 41st Annual Plowshares Craftfair & Peace Festival at Nottingham High School on Saturday, Dec. 3 (10 a.m-5 p.m.), and Sun. Dec. 4 (11 a.m.-5 p.m.
