SU Library expands research capabilities with purchase of Web of Science archive

The Syracuse University Library announces the purchase of the Web of Science archive. Coverage of both the Science Citation Index and the Social Sciences Citation Index now extends from 1900-present. The Arts and Humanities Citation Index now covers from 1975-present. Previous coverage for all three databases was from 1985-present.

SU tops Big East in green power purchases

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has recognized Syracuse University as the 2009-2010 Individual Conference Champion for using more green power than any other school in the Big East. This is the fourth consecutive year SU has been the Big East Individual Conference Champion.

Research finds low oxygen resources in CNY’s Three Rivers system

A unique three-year longitudinal and vertical study of Central New York’s Three Rivers system—involving the Oswego, Oneida and Seneca rivers—has revealed that oxygen resources have become degraded by several stressors, including the impact of wastewater treatment plants, nonpoint runoff, an increase in invasive zebra mussels and channelization of the flow.

Salina St., and at 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 30 at New Jerusalem COGIC, 1641 S. Salina St. The seminars are free and open to the public.
