“Cuomo’s planned ad campaign raises eyebrows, questions”
Grant Reeher, professor of political science and director of the Campbell Public Affairs Institute in the Maxwell School, was interviewed for the Spectrum News story “Cuomo’s planned ad campaign raises eyebrows, questions.” After being accused of sexually harassing multiple women, former Gov. Andrew Cuomo is now using funds from his campaign account to create TV ads in an attempt to rehabilitate his image. Reeher, who studies American politics, explained that soon after his resignation last summer there were also public accusations of Cuomo creating a toxic work environment that included bullying. “Frankly, this is another way in which Andrew Cuomo reminds me of Donald Trump — the inability to accept political defeat, political failure,” Reeher said.
