“Syracuse University Honoring Manny Breland February 19”

Cydney Johnson, Vice President of Community Engagement and Government Relations, was interviewed for the WSYR Radio segment “Syracuse University Honoring Manny Breland February 19.” On the segment, Johnson discussed how the University plans to honor the life of Manny Breeland, a former SU Basketball player who recently passed at age 87. Breland was the first Black athlete to receive an athletic scholarship to attend Syracuse University and remained a pioneer for the program for years to come.
