“Vaccine Hesitancy Has Seeped Into Home Health Care”

Scott Landes, associate professor of sociology in the Maxwell School, was quoted in The Atlantic story “Vaccine Hesitancy Has Seeped Into Home Health Care.” Landes, who has studied the impact of COVID-19 on individuals with disabilities, explained how the toll of the pandemic had the greatest effect on people who were most in need of home health care, including the elderly and those with disabilities.  Landes said that the pandemic “underscored the fact that the system is broken” when it comes to protecting the health and wellness those who are most vulnerable.
