Grant Reeher, professor of political science and director of the Campbell Public Affairs Institute in the Maxwell School, was quoted in The Hill story “Stacey Abrams faces growing furor over mask-free photo.” Reeher, an expert on American politics, explained that it is surprising that Stacey Abrams, who has been a proponent of masks throughout the pandemic, posted a photo without wearing one. “You wonder, what is going through that person’s head? And what is going through their staffers’ heads? It’s their job to make sure this stuff doesn’t happen,” Reeher said.
