Romita Ray, associate professor of art and music histories in the College of Arts and Sciences, was quoted in the Telegraph India story “Art, Spaces and the Crisis of a Pandemic.” Ray, a expert on the art and architecture of India, explained that university museums should be places of learning and discovery, especially when it comes to art and music. She said that society should “re-imagine museums as active classroom places, not just laboratory spaces.”
