Dear Students and Families:

Congratulations—we crossed the threshold of the midway point of the fall semester earlier this week! I hope you’ll take time this weekend to recharge your batteries, connect with friends and burn off some stress. The activities listed below offer plenty of opportunities to do one, or all three, of these things.

Reminder: If you haven’t done so already, please make an appointment to get vaccinated against the flu. Daily appointments are available at the Barnes Center through Oct. 29, so don’t delay! All students are required to have proof of vaccination (or an approved religious or medical exemption) before the start of the Spring 2022 semester in order to retain campus access.

Here is just a sampling of activities happening this weekend. Visit the University Events Calendar, Wellness Portal and ’Cuse Activities website regularly for more opportunities. And, if you are looking for some spiritual nourishment this weekend and throughout the week, I encourage you to visit the Hendricks Chapel website to find out more about weekly services held by the various faith communities hosted by the chapel.
