Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Discusses School’s Plans For the New School Year

Gladys McCormick, Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and associate professor of history in the Maxwell School, wrote the syracuse.com article “CNY Inspirations: Unique partnership fosters inclusion – syracuse.com.”

McCormick discussed her appointment as Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and her plans for the new school year. She said, ‘As we embark on a new academic year, our hope is to build on the momentum with more dialogue circles and community-building initiatives. This is a critical step in our commitment to confront issues of race and ethnicity, and to train our students to make a difference in the world.’
