Scott Landes, associate professor of sociology in the Maxwell School, was quoted by LAist, “Workers Who Aid People With Disabilities Must Be Fully Vaccinated By Nov. 30.”
With the recent mandate for workers who aid people with disabilities to be vaccinated, Syracuse professor, Scott Landes, discussed the dangers of living in a congregate setting. “If you have an intellectual disability, and you’re living in your own home or a family home, you’re doing better than those living in a congregate setting. However, you still have some increased risk compared to the general population.”
