Maureen Casey, Chief Operating Officer for the Institute for Veterans and Military Families, was interviewed by Spectrum News and WRVO about her work in NYC as an NYPD chief during 9/11.
In the Spectrum article, Casey discussed her experience with 9/11, saying, “I saw the second plane hit, so we knew obviously that we were under attack. Evacuated 1 Police Plaza and at that time, I along with my assistant, headed to what became known as ground zero.”
