Afton Kapuscinski, assistant teaching professor in the College of Arts and Sciences and director of the Psychological Services Center, was interviewed by RTE (the Irish national broadcast) for the story, “Vaccine resistance persists despite pro-jab messaging.”
Kapuscinski discussed the increase in skepticism when it comes to vaccines, saying, “Data suggests hesitancy has varied over time, and has unfortunately increased in recent years. One indicator of the amplified hesitancy is the number of exemptions parents are seeking (and granted) for immunizations that are mandatory for children to attend school” in the US.
