A contractor is making pedestrian and accessible ramp improvements on the north side of the intersection at Skytop Road and East Colvin Street beginning today. Due to the work, sidewalk and accessible ramps on that side of the intersection will be closed through Aug. 15.
The work will include the reconstruction of accessible ramps, removal of an existing traffic island and asphalt paving. During this time pedestrians are required to cross Colvin Street at an alternate location, toward Comstock Avenue.
