Eric Schiff, professor of physics in the College of Arts and Sciences and interim director of the Center of Excellence, was quoted by Syracuse.com for, “CNY air quality expert: Better ventilation beats dining restrictions in pandemic.” Schiff commented on restaurants’ need for better air filtration systems, saying, “It could save those businesses money in the long run while ensuring potentially safer dining environments in the future.”
