Community Centers Need More Funding, Says Syracuse Professor

Brandon Hollie G’21, part-time instructor in Falk College, was interviewed for the CNY Central story “City of Syracuse to use federal relief funds to invest in families.” Hollie is currently working with a free therapy program at the Southwest Community Center in Syracuse.

Hollie said, “When you think about community centers and all of the programmings that happen under one community center, I’m not sure it can actually stretch. Certainly, I love the idea of saying, hey there are people on the ground doing this work, let’s find them.”
