Trump’s First Amendment Lawsuit Against Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube

Roy Gutterman, associate professor of magazine, news and digital journalism in the Newhouse School and director of the Tully Center for Free Speech, was quoted by Yahoo News for the story “Trump is using an unusual legal argument in his suits against Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube” as well as a story for Axios.

Gutterman, the director of the Tully Center for Free Speech, commented on these lawsuits saying, “Typically these are going to be difficult lawsuits to win on, especially making a First Amendment argument, because these are private media companies that are not operating as government entities.”
