As many of you prepare to depart campus, I also want to share a few reminders to keep our campus community healthy and well in these remaining days and weeks:

  • Continue to participate in weekly testing at the Stadium Testing Center while you access campus. Once you have left the Syracuse area, you are no longer required to test.
  • Upload your COVID-19 vaccine documentation to the Student Patient Portal. As of June 1, a COVID-19 vaccination or filed exemption is required for students who access campus over the summer months. Returning students will be required to be vaccinated or have an exemption on file prior to the Fall 2021 semester.
  • Adhere to the guidelines outlined in the Stay Safe Pledge.

After a year unlike any other, thank you for doing your part and making the most of all the events, programs and activities available this year. To our graduating seniors and families, I hope you enjoy the Commencement activities next weekend. I wish you all the best as you begin the next phase of your careers as Orange alumni. To our returning students and families, we look forward to seeing you next fall. Please be sure to check your email regularly, as well as visit the Stay Safe website, for the latest information from the University.

Be well, stay safe and enjoy the summer!

Sincerely,

Robert D. Hradsky, Ed.D.
Vice President for the Student Experience
