Welcome to the One University Awards Celebration
The daylong celebration of excellence on the Syracuse University campus begins now with a special message from Director of Athletics John Wildhack and the announcement of the Student-Athlete Scholar Awards.
The Student-Athlete Scholar Award recognizes the student-athletes with the highest cumulative grade point averages. This year’s recipients are Claire Cooke, a senior human development and family science major in the David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics and a member of the field hockey team, and Anicet Mundundu, a senior psychology major and philosophy minor in the College of Arts and Sciences and a member of the men’s rowing team.
Cooke is honored for her 3.97 cumulative GPA, and Mundundu for his 3.82 cumulative GPA.
The day will culminate with the One University Awards ceremony, which may be viewed at 4 p.m. ET.
