Dining Centers to Resume In-Person Dining Monday, April 19, at 11 a.m.
|Dear Students, Families, Faculty and Staff:
With more and more community members receiving COVID-19 vaccinations and as infection rates on our campus gradually decline, Syracuse University is taking action to expand indoor, in-person dining options.
Beginning at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 19, all campus dining centers, as well as the Schine Student Center and the Goldstein Student Center, will resume in-person dining at 50% capacity. Consistent with New York State public health guidelines, seating will be limited and positioned to adhere to social distancing requirements.
This latest action underscores the critical importance of continuing to adhere to public health guidelines. This includes mask wearing, social distancing, limiting the size of group gatherings, monitoring for symptoms and remaining in the Central New York region.
Our Public Health Team continues to monitor pandemic conditions on and around campus. It is our hope that as infections decrease and vaccination rates increase other day-to-day activities we are used to can resume as well.
