Gretchen Purser, associate professor of sociology in the Maxwell School, was interviewed for the Law360 article “CDC Extends Federal Anti-Eviction Order Through June.” Purser, who studies housing and homelessness, says that the need for rental assistance during the pandemic has been great, as many people lost their income. However, Purser wonders what future eviction policy may look like. “The question now is what will happen after June,” Purser says.
