Utility and site restoration work is set to begin on the west side of the stadium on Monday, March 29. This work will require the closure of the upper portion of the stairs from Irving Avenue up the hill to the stadium’s Gate C. These stairs will be removed and replaced as a part of the restoration plans in that area.
After taking the lower flight of stairs, pedestrians will be required to detour to the north along the sidewalk under the pedestrian bridge and follow the covered stairs up to the Falk College. The accessible pathway will remain unchanged, up the elevator in the Irving Avenue Garage and across the pedestrian bridge.
Additional detours will be required during the summer months due to construction around the stadium, as well as other campus site/utility projects. Information on these detours will be shared as it becomes available.
Delays in the proposed work may occur as a result of weather and/or unforeseen circumstances. In the event that there is a significant delay, revised information will be issued as soon as possible.
