Horace Campbell, professor of political science and African Americans studies in the Maxwell School, was quoted by LA Progressive for the story “Isn’t Freedom From Police Brutality a Human Right?” Campbell, an activist and scholar for over 40 years, says that there need to be more laws put in place that change the nature of policing in America after years of police remaining above the law. “There’s a recursive pattern of police violence that we must break, and unless it breaks the society cannot move forward together,” Campbell says. The story also rain in Capital and Main.
