“6 in 10 women experience sexual harassment, SU Law Professor explains.”

Kelly Curtis, teaching professor in the College of Law, was interviewed for the WSYR-TV story “6 in 10 women experience sexual harassment, SU Law Professor explains.” Curtis, who studies feminist legal theory, says that many women in the American workplace have experienced sexual harassment, and it is necessary to evaluate the legalities surrounding it. “So much sexual harassment is driven by narratives and cultural myths we tell ourselves about men, about women, about workers, and we need to have a more robust discussion about those myths, those narratives, those stories we tell ourselves, and the only way to do that is if people first start with their story, their narrative,” Curtis says.
