Robert Thompson, Trustee Professor of television, radio and film and director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture in the Newhouse School, was interviewed by The Wrap for the story “Britney Spears Doc Sparks Re-Examination of Celebrity: ‘The World Has Finally Woken Up.’” Thompson, an expert of film and pop culture, comments on how the new documentary, “Framing Britney Spears,” portrays the pop icon and how the media treated her.
