“Stimulus bill would boost incomes of poorest Americans by nearly $4,000”

Katherine Michelmore, assistant professor of public administration and international affairs in the Maxwell School, had research cited by CBS for the story “Stimulus bill would boost incomes of poorest Americans by nearly $4,000.” Michelmore,  who is a senior research associate in the Center for Policy Research, helped lead research on child tax credit, finding that “the vast majority of children living in households in the bottom decile [or bottom 10%] of the national [income] distribution are completely ineligible” to receive the credit.
