Grant Reeher, professor of political science and director of the Campbell Public Affairs Institute in the Maxwell School, was quoted by Newsweek for the story “Amid GOP Infighting Over Trump, Republicans Agree on Opposing Biden’s Agenda.” Reeher, an expert on American politics and democracy, does not believe there is much opportunity for Congress to govern in a bipartisan manner after such an extended period of animosity.  “Ironically, what it will probably take to create more bipartisanship is for one party to establish clear, stable control of an institution,” Reeher says.
