Can it happen?” Popp, an expert on environmental policy, recently conducted a study that found that for every $1 million spent, 10 new jobs were created in green energy a few years later. Popp said that most of the jobs were in manual labor, and “a lot of that’s by design because that’s where the money was targeted” in energy efficient renovations.
