Margaret Thompson, associate professor of history and political science in the Maxwell School, was interviewed for News Channel 9’s “Bridge Street” segment “‘Not Just Policymakers’ – SU Professor Shares Thoughts on New President & Vice President.” Thompson, who teaches about modern U.S. presidencies, believes that President Biden has an advantage from his former role as Vice President, which allowed him to see things from the inside and understand the importance of others’ expertise.
