The Rev. Brian E. Konkol, dean of Hendricks Chapel, was quoted in the Interfaith Youth Corp story “Post-Election, Campuses Are Building Spaces to Heal.” Konkol has focused mental and spiritual wellbeing on campus after the election, and he believes that listening with the intent of understanding is key in discussing critical societal issues. “When we listen, we recognize that we can have significant disagreements, whether they’re religious, spiritual, or political, and still be committed to creating a shared life together where communities can flourish,” says Konkol.
